Michael Lesser, NHBA Research Chair, got back from the UNH undergraduate research conference where one of our research grant awardees (Gavin Cianciolo) had a poster on his progress developing T°C, RH and CO2 sensor package for beehives. They gave a great presentation to the judging committee (they have made it past first round already!). Gavin has purchased two nucleus colonies and will be continuing the development and testing of his sensors, for which he has a prototype as well, during the spring and summer!
