Located in Concord, NH. The goal of Capital Area Beekeepers is to educate and support beekeepers in the Capital area of New Hampshire.

An active club, with many involved members from the very new to the very experienced; we host bee school in the early spring, participate in a variety of events that promote understanding about honeybees, and utilize our teaching apiary on the grounds of the Governor’s Mansion to reinforce our members’ beekeeping skill and knowledge.

Bee world fun fact

The queen bee lives for about 2-3 years. She is the busiest in the summer months, when the hive needs to be at its maximum strength, and lays up to 2500 eggs a day.
